A Tremendous Success: Our Annual Veterans BBQ Recapped! 🍔

Our Annual Veterans BBQ, held on Sunday, May 31st, was an incredible success! It beautifully fulfilled its three-fold purpose: serving as a dedicated hands-on service project for the Verdugos Kiwanis, providing a wonderful social gathering for our community, and acting as an impactful fundraiser to support our local heroes.

We are thrilled to announce that proceeds are being donated to American Legion Post 127 to support their invaluable work in our community.

Event Highlights

• The Mission: Coming together to honor and raise funds for our local veterans.
• The Feast: A fantastic, old-fashioned BBQ featuring grilled burgers, hot dogs, veggie options, and refreshing drinks.
• The Venue: A special thank you to our gracious hosts at American Legion Post 127 (714 W. Wilson Ave, Glendale) for providing the perfect space for food, fellowship, and celebration.

To everyone who purchased a ticket, brought friends and family, shared the event, or sent in donations via Zelle and Zeffy—thank you. Your generosity is what made this afternoon of food and fellowship possible.

Together, we’ve made a meaningful difference for Glendale’s veteran community. We already can’t wait for next year’s grill-out!
